Ladies and Gentlemen:
My name is Nicolas Mreches.
I was born in Luxembourg, small country between France, Germany and Belgium.
I moved to Hannover and worked for seven years as a hig-frequency development engineer for Blaupunkt and Sennheiser.
In 1980 I founded interkom electronic Kock & Mreches with Mr. Kock. The company had its head office near Hannover. In 25 years interkom reached a remarkable status as a provider of high quality and state of the art conference and interpretation systems. Beside a standard portfolio of products the company specialized in customized conference and interpretation systems for customers worldwide.
To boost production and sales the company merged with beyerdynamic in early 2006. The founders did not join the new company but were available as consultants during the period of integration.
Within 25 years, as a commercial director and chief operating officer I witnessed the development of conference and interpretation products from daisy chained analogue microphone stands to complex digital terminals. Meanwhile software has become an essential part in digital conferencing.
interkom always had a close eye on competitors. Among those observed, TAIDEN was the most impressive due to its high speed of innovation and technological level.
My personal contacts with TAIDEN happened early 2008 and were followed by a visit in ShenZhen in March. I could make myself an idea of the pace of development, the production capacities and the high level of quality.
To be successful in today's conference and interpretation business, it is necessary to have a complete portfolio of products, covering a large variety of applications, wired and wireless.
Turn key projects including Language distribution Systems, Security Control and Dome camera are now standard applications. In addition ex stock delivery is also expected by customers whatever may be the quantity ordered.
You may have the most sophisticated system, if you can't deliver according to customers requirements you will not get the project.
Therefore, in the long term only a few manufacturers will survive in this business, despite the appearance of new competitors on trade fairs.
With its impressive portfolio of components and faculty to quickly respond to customers needs at a high level of quality, TAIDEN does meet these requirements.
The new digital infrared wireless conference system HCS-5300 series and the new digital infrared wireless language distribution system HCS-5100 are such examples.
In addition compliancy to IEC 61603-7 is an important feature to offer to customers worldwide an alternative source for wireless infrared receivers.
A fact that customers will certainly appreciate as they were eagerly waiting for this alternative.
